The position reports to the Lead Custodian under the direction of the Custodial Supervisor. It is responsible for cleaning and maintaining health and safety standards of the school, including day-to-day care necessary to ensure the upkeep of the school. Duties include daily sweeping, mopping, cleaning, trash removal, equipment handling, and other related tasks as required. Custodians may also be involved in setting up tables, chairs, and special equipment for meetings, programs, seminars, and other events.

The position may be required to make basic repairs to the school.

Will train. Must exhibit interpersonal skills and work as an effective team leader.
