Calgon Carbon Corporation Careers seeks an Industrial Sprayer to support manufacturing of activated carbon and filtration products at our Moon Township, PA facility. In this role you will set up, operate, and maintain industrial spray equipment to coat, treat, or finish components to specification. Responsibilities include reading blueprints and work orders, mixing and measuring chemicals, adjusting spray patterns, performing quality checks, and documenting production data.
You will follow strict safety and environmental procedures, assist with preventive maintenance, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate industrial spray equipment for coating and finishing processes
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders
- Mix, measure, and prepare coating chemicals according to formulas and safety standards
- Adjust spray patterns, pressures, and settings to meet quality and production targets
- Inspect parts and finished products, performing basic quality checks and measurements
- Document production data, materials usage, and inspection results
- Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on spray equipment and work area
- Follow all safety, environmental, and PPE requirements in a manufacturing setting
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve issues
- Support continuous improvement, 5
- S, and lean manufacturing initiatives
