Key

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Excellent assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (additional certifications such as PALS or TNCC are beneficial)
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and documentation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess and triage incoming patients, prioritizing care based on acuity and clinical presentation
• Deliver prompt, evidence-based interventions for a wide range of emergency conditions
• Monitor patient status and respond rapidly to changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders and protocols
• Communicate with patients, families, and the care team to ensure understanding and continuity of care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Adhere to safety guidelines, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards
• Support and mentor less-experienced nurses and collaborate with support staff as needed
