Staff Development Coordinator, RN

Role Overview:
The Staff Development Coordinator is responsible for orienting and educating nursing staff to ensure safe, effective care aligned with federal, state, and facility guidelines. They develop tailored education programs, supervise new employees during their orientation, and perform annual competency assessments to enhance staff performance. Additionally, they oversee the Employee Health Program, including immunization tracking and vaccination administration.

• Current RN license from an accredited nursing school
• At least three years of clinical experience, with preferred experience in long-term care and gerontology
• Strong clinical nursing skills and experience in adult learning or education

• Develop and deliver staff education programs based on identified needs
• Supervise and evaluate nursing staff during orientation and annually
• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols through immunization oversight
