LVN​/LPN – LTC​/SNF

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 14-week contract at a local facility. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate patient care in a skilled nursing environment, adhering to all safety and health protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care and medication to patients according to established protocols.
• Monitor patients' health status and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure infection control procedures are followed, including COVID-19 safety guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including identification and badge policies.

Qualifications:

• Current valid LVN or LPN license in the state of New Mexico.
• Proven experience in LTC/SNF settings preferred.
• Ability to adhere to safety protocols, including COVID-19 vaccinations or valid exemptions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work on a local basis.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends.
