Quality Technician I

Calgon Carbon Corporation Careers is seeking a Quality Technician I to support manufacturing of advanced activated carbon and filtration products. In this role, you will perform routine quality inspections, sampling, and laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory standards. You will document and analyze data, assist with nonconformance investigations, support root-cause and corrective actions, and collaborate with production to drive continuous improvement in a safety-focused, mission-driven environment.

• Perform routine inspections, sampling, and testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products
• Record, analyze, and report quality data in accordance with procedures and specifications
• Support investigations of nonconformances and assist with root cause and corrective actions
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory and inspection equipment
• Review production documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Communicate quality findings to production and engineering teams
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures
• Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives in the plant
