Summary: Abrasive Form is a world leader in high precision Aerospace and Industrial Gas Turbine (IGT) machining. We manufacture turbine blades and vanes for many of the largest gas turbine manufactures and militaries around the world. We use high precision CNC milling, electrical discharge machining (EDM), and 3 and 5-axis creep feed and CBN grinding.

A successful candidate will be a self-starter, committed to safety for self and the team, hungry to learn and make improvement, a high standard for quality and process compliance, and a team player.

Mid Shift receives 8% shift pay and works 12:00pm-8:30pm, Monday through Friday work schedule. Must train on 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm for 2 weeks. Now offering $1,500 Sign on bonus!

Qualifications and Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent Able to read job specifications and follow directions as needed. Diligent in taking the time to document non-conforming parts 100% of the time. Experience using measuring equipment such as caliper, micrometer, gages is preferred. Must be able to follow direction and maintain documentation as needed for each job. Prior experience working in aerospace or other manufacturing industry, preferred.

Talking, hearing, and using hands to operate machining equipment. Ability to maneuver and hold parts at or above waist height while performing the work. Must be able to lift at least 25lbs frequently and on occasion up to 50lbs. Must be able to work on your feet in a manufacturing environment. Physical ability to do work requiring frequent lifting, twisting, standing, stooping, and bending.

Usual manufacturing environment with temperature fluctuations, noise from and interactions with equipment, and safety standards of PPE and practices required.
