Press Brake Setup Technician With Industry Leader / $32-$40 Per Hour + $1,000 Sign On Bonus / Excellent Benefits & Growth Opportunity A bit about us:An industry leader in precision manufacturing is seeking an experienced Press Brake Setup Technician to join its first-shift team. This position is responsible for independently setting up, programming, adjusting, and operating press brake equipment to produce precision sheet metal components.
The ideal candidate has extensive press brake setup experience, strong blueprint-reading skills, and the ability to troubleshoot forming issues while maintaining quality and production standards. This individual may also help train operators and provide direction when a lead or supervisor is unavailable.

- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Set up, program, adjust, and operate press brake machines
- Install, align, and change tooling based on job specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production schedules
- Verify angles, dimensions, bend sequences, and completed parts
- Use calipers, height gauges, and other precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot process issues, clear alarms, and make minor machine adjustments
- Complete first-piece and periodic quality inspections
- Minimize scrap while meeting production and quality requirements
- Train and assist operators with machine operation, inspection, and setup procedures
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
- Follow all machine-guarding and workplace safety requirements
- Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized
- At least five years of press brake setup and operating experience preferred
- Experience working in sheet metal fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment
- Ability to independently set up equipment with minimal adjustments or supervision
- Strong blueprint-reading and precision measurement skills
- Knowledge of press brake tooling, bend sequences, and forming processes
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Vocational training in machining, fabrication, or a related discipline is preferred
