Position: TCC - MA Auburn  - FT - Retail Assistant Manager

Retail Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our team in the Retail Trade industry. As the Retail Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring that sales goals are met, and providing exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for managing and training a team of sales associates to ensure that they are meeting their performance targets and delivering excellent customer service.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience with inventory management and visual merchandising.
  • Experience with retail sales and customer service.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Ensure that sales goals are met and that the store is meeting its financial targets.
  • Manage and train a team of sales associates to ensure that they are meeting their performance targets and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Assist in the recruitment and hiring of new sales associates.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry trends.

Skills:

As the Retail Assistant Manager, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and train your team of sales associates. You will also need strong leadership skills to motivate your team and ensure that they are meeting their performance targets. Additionally, you will need to have a strong understanding of inventory management and visual merchandising to ensure that the store is well-stocked and visually appealing to customers.

Finally, you will need to have a customer-focused mindset and be able to provide exceptional customer service to ensure that customers have a positive shopping experience.
