Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8-hour shift💰
Pay: $50,000 base + up to 5% merit-based bonusđź“„

Your Role as an Expediter:As an Order Expediter
, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer orders ship on time according to agreed-upon lead times. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, this position is responsible for coordinating across internal departments throughout the manufacturing process, proactively identifying at-risk orders, and maintaining clear communication with both sales representatives and customers.

Key Responsibilities:🔹
Order Tracking & Coordination
Work closely with all departments to track work orders throughout the manufacturing process
Use Big Bolt’s ERP system to monitor work order status on the shop floor
Communicate with Purchasing regarding all outside service inquiries

Customer & Sales Communication
Proactively communicate with sales representatives regarding orders at risk of becoming past due
Provide customers with timely and accurate order status updates
Act as a central point of contact to ensure expectations are clearly communicated and managed

Other Duties as Assigned
Support continuous improvement efforts and assist with additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree (Business Administration or similar preferred)
2+ years of customer service experience preferred
Prior experience in the fastener or manufacturing industry is a plus, but not required
Eagerness to learn the industry and grow within the organization
