Route Driver - Smartservice

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time Route Driver – Smart Service position located at 171 Covington Lane, Bloomingdale, IL 60108. Online applications are accepted only. The fixed pay rate is $25.00 per hour. Internal employee referral bonus is available. All Canteen driving roles may include commission eligibility.

Drives company vehicle over an established route to deliver products and maintain inventory for vending machines, ensuring top‑notch service to clients and customers at all times.

• Prior to each route, ensure the truck is properly loaded with all required product and follow outlined operational procedures.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
• Load hand cart with totes of product, walk to the machines, load the machines, and return to the truck with an empty hand truck.
• Perform product rotation to ensure freshness at client locations.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and related equipment.
• Conduct minor service and adjustments on machines; when necessary, report defective equipment to the designated maintenance repair service operators or technician dispatcher.
• Maintain accurate machine product and inventory data via a handheld computer.
• Inform regular clients and customers of new products or services.
• Listen to and resolve service complaints; report all client and/or customer complaints to the immediate supervisor promptly.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays, or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
• Be accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected, and product.
• Conduct inventory reconciliation in accordance with established procedures.
• Keep the company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Three years of driving experience required.
• Valid driver’s license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws.
• Preferred one to two years’ experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of one year of related experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
