Tax Intern

• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns
• Gain experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, work papers, and systems
• Support multiple client engagements on time and within budget
• Identify issues and communicate progress
• Expand industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and formal training opportunities
• Complete research and special projects as needed
• Communicate effectively with clients and CLA family members regularly

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Achieving credit requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements
• General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel to client sites

Demonstrates proficiency in preparing various tax returns while effectively communicating with clients and team members. Possesses foundational knowledge in accounting principles and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
