Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to insurance agents and office staff.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and client inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Prepare and process insurance documents, applications, and renewals.
  • Maintain and update client records and databases.
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for insurance agents.
  • Assist with billing, payments, and policy changes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Coordinate communication between clients, agents, and insurance carriers.
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
  • Licensed Assistants may hold insurance review meetings with clients to assist or in the absence of the agent.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or insurance-related role is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with insurance software and CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of insurance terminology and processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
