Description
As the front-line customer ambassador for INB, the Relationship Banker is cross‑trained to provide a world‑class experience for customers. The role requires a thorough understanding of customer transaction requirements, effective communication about available options, and proactive participation in the branch sales/quality referral process. The Relationship Banker assists customers with account openings, account management, and other financial services, ensures timely and efficient completion of customer transactions, maintains accurate records, and processes all monies assigned.
Responsibilities- Provide world‑class customer service, manage difficult or emotional situations, and respond promptly to customer needs.
- Assist customers with account opening, account management, and other financial services.
- Complete customer transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate records.
- Proactively participate in the branch sales and quality referral process as directed by management.
- Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and quality in all tasks.
- Customer Service: Manage difficult situations, respond promptly, solicit feedback, meet commitments.
- Professionalism: Approach others tactfully, work well under pressure, treat all with respect, accept responsibility, follow through.
- Quality: Demonstrate accuracy, seek improvements, apply feedback, monitor work.
- Relationship Building: Listen, recognize needs, provide solutions.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; previous banking, teller, or customer contact/cross‑sell experience preferred.
- Language
Skills:
Communicate effectively in writing and verbally; comprehend simple instructions. - Mathematical
Skills:
Perform basic calculations and process large sums of cash accurately. - Reasoning: Use good judgement for routine and complex decisions; goal‑oriented; team player; adaptable.
- Computer
Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn other bank‑related programs. - Physical Demands: Lift up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Work Environment: Standard banking branch environment.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
$19.00 per hour
