Customer Service Representative – Onsite

Location:

West Dundee, IL

• Process orders and quotes for material or service received via fax, mail, email, telephone, web chat, or in person, with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Direct and expedite orders to meet customer requirements.
• Provide information to customers about products and services, including technical details, pricing, shipping information, anticipated delays, and additional information as needed.
• Follow up on orders to ensure delivery on specified dates.
• Coordinate product returns and manage customer complaints.
• Interface with internal and external customers; escalate issues to higher authorities as needed.
• Demonstrate excellent attention to accuracy and strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively; build rapport with prospective and current customers.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and take appropriate action.
• Show flexibility and adaptability; demonstrate willingness to learn and progress.
• Perform any other duties as required.

• Minimum High School diploma.
• 3–5 years of customer service experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Preferred: export logistics knowledge.
• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, especially operations.

• Compensation:
  Non-exempt, hourly role, with an annual estimate of $50,000 to $55,000 depending on experience.
