Carle Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join Carle McLean County Orthopedics in Bloomington, Illinois. As a surgeon with Carle McLean County Orthopedics, you will join a multidisciplinary team including 5 BC Orthopedic Surgeons, 2 BC Pain Management Physicians, and a full suite of Advanced Practice Providers and therapists.
Clinical Workflow- Balance: 2 days in clinic, 2 days in surgery, and 0.5 day at outreach locations.
- Each surgeon is assigned a dedicated RN within the clinic to streamline patient care and administrative tasks.
- Practice out of a state-of-the‑art facility featuring onsite MRI, digital X‑ray, weight‑bearing CT, DEXA, Fluoroscopy, and a walk‑in sports injury clinic.
- Call: Rotating schedule; notably, there is no trauma call, allowing for a superior work‑life balance.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Fellowship training is welcomed and encouraged, but candidates must remain comfortable with General Orthopedic call.
- Eligibility for Illinois medical licensure.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, patient‑centered approach.
- Base Salary: $650,000 – $675,000 (starting range based on experience/qualifications).
