  • Full Time, 8:15am - 3:30pm
  • Caseload:
    Elementary and Middle School roles , Resource and Self Contained class, 6th-8th grade classroom, all cross categorical
    • Specialize in self-contained classrooms and/or ESL/English classroom.
    • About to develop and implement IEPs while coordinating with internal departments.
    • Bilingual candidates are highly recommended.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
  • Provide direct instruction to students using a variety of teaching methods and materials tailored to individual learning styles and needs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to create inclusive learning environments and promote student success.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed to ensure academic growth.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, behavior, and services provided.
  • Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
  • Stay informed of best practices and research-based interventions in the field of special education.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid state Special Education Teacher certification.
  • Previous experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Commitment to creating inclusive and equitable learning environments for all students.
