Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance enterprise network infrastructure in Bloomington, IL
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting network systems while collaborating with cross‑functional IT teams in a hybrid work environment
.

• Design, implement, and support LAN/WAN/WLAN network infrastructure

• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers

• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and security

• Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root‑cause analysis

• Support network upgrades, migrations, and new deployments

• Implement network security best practices and policies

• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and procedures

• Collaborate with systems, security, and application teams

• Participate in on‑call or after‑hours support as needed

• Strong experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator

• Experience with
  Cisco networking technologies (routers, switches, ASA/Firepower)

• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, OSPF

• Experience with
  firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar)

• Experience with
  network monitoring and troubleshooting tools

• Knowledge of network security principles

• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills

• Experience with
  wireless technologies (Cisco, Aruba, etc.)

• Experience with
  cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)

• Experience with
  SD‑WAN

• Scripting or automation experience (Python, Power Shell)

• Networking certifications (
  CCNA, CCNP
  , or equivalent)
