Relationship Banker

This Relationship Banker position is responsible for running the day‑to‑day operations of the Retail Branch at our offices within the retirement communities of Westminster Village and Luther Oaks in Bloomington, IL. The individual represents the bank within these communities and serves as a liaison between the bank and the management of the organizations.

This position serves as both teller and personal banker to meet branch office needs and is responsible for accurate processing of customer transactions, opening new accounts, and helping customers choose suitable financial products.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day‑to‑day branch operations.
  • Process routine transactions within established guidelines, including cashing checks, accepting deposits, processing withdrawals, and handling loan payments.
  • Open new accounts and assist customers in selecting appropriate financial products.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, actively listening to their needs, addressing inquiries promptly, and handling complaints or concerns with empathy and efficiency.
  • Educate customers about bank products and services, cross‑selling relevant products based on customer profiles.
  • Safeguard customers’ personal information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the bank.
  • Remain alert to potential fraud and take necessary precautions.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience as a Teller, Personal Banker, or Financial Services representative preferred, but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

This dual‑role position is perfect for individuals who excel in customer service and are eager to take on the responsibilities of both a teller and a personal banker.
