We are seeking a Client Services Specialist who is passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences, thrives in a detail-oriented environment, and enjoys supporting both clients and financial advisors. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Oak Brook, Illinois.

Position Summary

The Client Services Specialist plays a critical role in the daily operations of the firm, serving as the primary point of contact for clients while providing administrative, operational, and advisor support. This individual will help ensure a seamless client experience, maintain accurate records and systems, and identify opportunities to provide additional support to clients and advisors.

Qualifications

Required

  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent customer service skills and a genuine desire to help others
  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential client information
  • Strong integrity and dependability
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses
  • Previous experience in a financial services, wealth management, or professional services environment
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Redtail and financial planning software such as eMoney and LPL Financial Client Works system is beneficial
Key Responsibilities Client Service & Relationship Management
  • Serve as the first point of contact for client phone calls, emails, and in-office visits
  • Deliver a high-touch client experience through timely communication and proactive support
  • Maintain and update client records, including contact information and account details
  • Track and document meaningful client milestones and personal information within CRM systems
Account Opening & Maintenance
  • Prepare and process new account paperwork and electronic account applications
  • Monitor account transfers and follow up as necessary
  • Contact clients within 24 hours of account opening to assist with online access and account setup
  • Ensure client records and systems remain accurate and up to date
Advisor & Operations Support
  • Serve as a key resource for advisors and act as a liaison with LPL Financial back-office teams
  • Review daily transaction activity and pending business reports
  • Assist advisors with regulatory licensing, insurance appointments, and administrative requirements
  • Proactively identify opportunities to support advisors and improve operational efficiency
Meeting Preparation & Follow-Up
  • Schedule and confirm client meetings
  • Prepare meeting materials and required paperwork
  • Coordinate post-meeting follow-up activities and track action items in Redtail
  • Support new client onboarding, including execution of the firm's 90-Day Client Experience process
Investment, Insurance & Planning Support
  • Monitor IRA transfers and rollovers, ensuring timely follow-up with custodians and institutions
  • Assist advisors with gathering insurance quotes and annuity illustrations, and support application processing
  • Assist with financial plan preparation, including data entry and scenario modeling in eMoney
Client Event Coordination
  • Participate in the planning and execution of occasional client appreciation events and educational programs
Compensation & Benefits

$60,000 – $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and licensing status.
