Expected pay for this position is $39.13 - $46.03/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
OverviewPOSITION SUMMARY:
The Lead MRI Technologist will act as a subject matter expert for the department to include; communication, equipment maintenance, scheduling, and resolving safety, patient and team member concerns. Operates MRI equipment to obtain images for use by physicians for the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. Positions patients and adjusts MRI equipment to correct setting for each examination, manipulates images to create optimal studies, distributes images to the PACS system and may reproduce images on alternate media as necessary.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- Education: Associates Degree
- Experience: One year of experience in MRI
- Licensure/Certification: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), Advanced Registry Certification in MRI within 12 months, Basic Life Support certification American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers)
- Experience: Three years experience in MRI
- Licensure/Certification: Advanced Registry Certification in MRI
