Overview

Join our DYNAMIC team at Bickford Senior Living as a Maintenance Coordinator. The Maintenance Coordinator ensures that the Branch is clean and in good working order. They use their expertise to provide a safe and well-kept home for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the Branch to a standard of excellence that reflects the quality of care provided to residents
  • Prioritize and complete all maintenance tasks timely
  • Address maintenance issues promptly, notifying the Director when outside services are needed
  • Ensure all apartments are move-in-ready within 3 days after move-out
  • Assist in arranging service contracts and bids as assigned
  • Promptly complete items from Maintenance Request forms
  • Manage the Preventive Maintenance Work Schedule to ensure items are completed timely
  • Order supplies/chemicals as assigned
  • Identify emergency situations and respond appropriately using the applicable Bickford procedure
  • Ensure equipment remains in working order and is used safely
  • Complete Resident Monitoring System Testing Procedure Checklist as scheduled
  • Complete the Exit Door Inspection Checklist as scheduled
  • Perform emergency tests according to the Preventive Maintenance Work Schedule
  • Ensure chemicals utilized are securely stored, labeled, and used per directions, and appropriate PPE is worn
  • Ensure OSHA compliance while working in the Branch
  • Complete tasks necessary to comply with all applicable state and federal regulatory agencies
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Willing to take additional training or education as required by specific states
  • CPR and First Aid certifications are required or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills
