We are seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Primary Therapist to join the Resilience Behavioral Health team in Willowbrook, IL. This is a full-time, on-site role centered on delivering individual and group therapy within a structured, supportive clinical environment. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical grounding, a genuine commitment to person-centered and trauma-informed care, and the interpersonal skills to connect meaningfully with a diverse client population navigating complex mental health and co-occurring conditions.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Provide individual and group counseling services using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and guide meaningful therapeutic discussions
- Apply knowledge of PTSD care and trauma-informed frameworks across a diverse client population
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities with awareness of their distinct clinical needs
- Approach gender-related concerns in counseling with sensitivity, competence, and care
- Manage clinical documentation accurately, including familiarity with ICD coding and electronic medical records
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to support continuity and quality of care
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience providing individual and group counseling services
- Proficiency in facilitating group therapy sessions and therapeutic discussions
- Knowledge of PTSD care and trauma-informed treatment approaches
- Familiarity with medical records management and ICD-9 coding
