Living Room Program Peer Staff (Full-Time

The CENTER for Human Services, a leading provider of behavioral health care services, is seeking Living Room Program Peer Staff (Full-Time).

Responsibilities:

• Complete screenings, on-site support, and short-term follow-up
• Complete other assessments as clinically appropriate
• Provide linkage and distribution of information on community resources to clients
• Develop collaborative working relationships with community agencies, homeless shelters, therapists, physicians, and law enforcement personnel
• Work schedule may vary depending on shift, as this is a 24/7 program

Qualifications:

• Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) designation with the State of Illinois
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid Illinois driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with recovery-oriented practices, peer recovery support, and crisis respite
• Knowledge of community resources
• One year of work or volunteer experience in behavioral health or crisis intervention

Salary Range:$19.00 - $24.00 hourly
