Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist serving middle school students in the Maple Park area. This full-time assignment will cover a maternity leave, beginning October 1, 2026, and continuing through December 2026. Work onsite to support student learning and growth within a collaborative school community.
In this role, you will have the chance to make a significant impact during a crucial time for middle schoolers—helping to assess needs, provide counseling, and partner with teachers and families. Your expertise will support both student well-being and their academic success.
Qualifications &Experience:
- Current and active School Psychologist certification/licensure for Illinois is required
- Experience working with middle school-aged children preferred
- Strong skills in psychological assessment, report writing, and intervention planning
- Proven ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
- Organized, flexible, and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic school environment
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized education or behavior intervention plans
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support student development
- Provide crisis intervention and ongoing counseling services as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and school requirements
