Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist serving a diverse PreK-8 population in a supportive educational environment. This onsite position spans the academic year, from August 11, 2026, to May 24, 2027, offering the chance to work full-time (35-37.5 hours per week) and make a meaningful impact in students’ lives. The grade level and caseload will be determined to best match your strengths and experience, but flexibility and confidence working with any age group are highly valued.
Bilingual (Spanish) professionals are especially encouraged to apply, as your skills will help foster collaborative relationships with students, families, and staff.
Key
Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement required
- Previous experience in school psychology supporting PreK-8 students preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) abilities strongly preferred
- Adaptability and willingness to work with any grade level
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho educational assessments and participate in multi-disciplinary teams
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to support student well-being
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services
- Develop and assist with implementation of behavioral and academic interventions
- Help guide and facilitate IEP and eligibility meetings
