School-based full time Occupational Therapy Assistant Tasks are varied including direct and indirect therapy (consultation, screening, collaborative problem solving and teaming) to remove motor barriers for our students use an integrated service model with a workload model for assignments. Positioning equipment, adapted equipment and treatment materials are provided. Continuing education is provided 4 days per year for a full time therapist.
This is a cooperative which works from a central location and provides support to multiple rural schools so your own car is required but mileage is reimbursed. Our team includes 4 OTRs and 6 COTAs along with 6 PT staff.
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
Salary/Benefits$25.00 per hour for a new graduate. Salary increases with experience. Individual Health insurance is provided with minimal contribution by employee. 4 days of paid professional development. 12 sick days per year and 3 personal days.
