Senior Pharmacy Strategy Consultant

• Support leadership by delivering projects related to Medical Drug strategy development, planning, and implementation

• Help drive growth and improve the affordability of products and services

• React to shifting competitive trends and external forces in the Medical Drug space

• Develop and implement initiatives and programs

• Liaise with network teams on facility contracting efforts for medical drug

• Liaise with national account sales teams to support the medical drug value story

• Manage performance of medical drug programs

• Execute strategy and perform discovery work

• Build business cases

• Analyze competitive intelligence, internal financials, secondary research, and other data sources

• Synthesize data into clear and actionable insights

• Develop key performance indicators and performance metrics

• Partner and coordinate with stakeholders to identify, solve, and implement projects

• Bachelor degree / Master’s Degree / MBA and 5 years of general industry experience, or 2 years consulting experience at a top tier consulting firm
• Knowledge of corporate strategy and/or transformation core skill sets
• Experience formulating, planning, and/or implementing strategy and transformative efforts
• Ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, provide insights and implications, inform decision making, and make recommendations/prioritize new opportunities
• Ability to proactively identify and resolve complex problems with some oversight
• Experience managing complex projects with some oversight
• Ability to build strong connections with people and teams and drive results across a matrixed environment
• Ability to work directly with leadership with some oversight
• Ability to communicate effectively through verbal, written and visual channels
• Ability to work within a very fast-paced, quickly evolving organization and manage multiple, complex priorities
• Advanced degree such as MBA, MHA, MD, JD, or PhD preferred
• Experience in the healthcare industry, especially in the pharmacy value chain preferred
• Experience with corporate strategy, growth strategy, product strategy, or business case development preferred

Demonstrates expertise in Medical Drug Strategy Development, Project Management, and Corporate Strategy, with a strong ability to analyze data and synthesize actionable insights. Proven track record in managing complex projects and building stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
