Travel Cath Lab​/EP Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of recent heart and peripheral cath experience for a Level 2 trauma acute care facility.

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience with heart caths and peripheral caths
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Experience with Philips equipment and McKesson systems preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred

• Acute care setting within a Level 2 trauma facility
• Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 2 labs, 1 hybrid room, and a 6-bed recovery area
• One lab is equipped with BiPlane imaging
• Average of 5 cases per day
• Patient population includes STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, stroke patients requiring neuro-intervention, peripheral angios, line and drain placement, and loop recorders
• Uses Epic EMR, Philips monitoring equipment and tables, and McKesson systems in the labs
• 4x9 hour day shifts, , with call coverage
• On call 2-3 nights per week, every 3rd weekend, and 2-3 holidays per year
• Typically does not require floating
• Charge nurse occasionally takes an assignment
• Facility does not require COVID vaccination
• Unit-specific orientation is 32 hours across 4 shifts
• Hospital-provided scrubs
