F. Saul Company Hospitality Group is offering a 9‑to‑12‑month self‑directed, comprehensive management training program. The Accounting Manager‑In‑Training program is rotational, allowing you to understand the accounting department while developing your management skills. This position will rotate through the hotel while the management trainee will gain hands‑on, relative experience and management skills while working in the Accounting department.
The trainee will be required to meet regularly with their department head and will be required to successfully complete each departmental specific training checklist before advancing to the next step in program. This position will attend all supervisory and management training courses provided by the hotel and the Company. This position will also participate in all meetings conducted in the hotel and specific department in which they are working at the time.

- Financial: This position will be required to follow all accounting standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with the

F. Saul Company Hospitality Group’s internal controls and the accuracy of financial reporting. Key responsibilities are to assist with analysis of productivity and financial reports and make recommendations for improvements. The ability to perform, as assigned by the Controller and General Manager, the functions of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll is required. One or more of the previously mentioned accounting functions will be assigned by the Controller and could change at any time.
Additionally, this position will assist with month end closing and be required to independently complete projects as assigned by the Controller and General Manager. - Cost Control: Assists all departments in maximizing efficiencies. Assists in identifying maximization of revenue for the hotel and restaurant. Assists department managers in effectively managing expenses and labor costs. Follows procurement guidelines and applies good business judgment.
- Operational Procedures: Provides leadership support in maintaining established controls and standard procedures. Serves as a resource for all management and hourly staff.
- Training: Analyzes quality issues, identifies training needs and ensures implementation to improve results. Utilizes available resources and adheres to
