Position: People Business Partner
  • The People Operations Partner manages key HR functions such as onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, training coordination, HRIS, and compliance across state facilities.
  • Responsibilities include assisting with recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing, supporting field employees, and serving as the HR contact for retail locations.
  • Minimum qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years of HR experience, 2 years of payroll experience, HRIS proficiency, and willingness to travel up to 15%; preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and knowledge of relevant employment laws.
  • The position offers a salary range of $67,000 to $75,000 plus benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid holidays, PTO, and product discounts, with work performed primarily in an office environment.

The People Operations Partner is the point person for any HR related topics and is responsible for facilitating critical generalist HR functions—such as onboarding, maintenance of employee records, employee relations, benefits, payroll, training and development coordination, HRIS, and compliance—within the company’s state facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with recruitment and interview process.
  • Conduct employee onboarding.
  • Enroll employees into new benefits.
  • Visit and support company personnel at locations across the state.
  • Provide a positive and professional HR experience to field employees and management.
  • Perform and run payroll on bi-weekly basis utilizing HR processes (as needed).
  • Process paperwork for new hires, terminations, and other status changes.
  • Point of Contact for retail locations with any questions on time clocks, payroll or benefits.
  • Assist the Executive Vice President of Human Resources with research and special projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • 3 year(s) of human resources experience required.
  • 2 years of Payroll Administration experience required.
  • Human Resource Information System (HRIS) experience required.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or relevant field preferred.
  • General knowledge of EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Cobra, OSHA, Workers Compensation, DOL, and other federal and state laws and regulations preferred.
  • HIPPA experience preferred.
  • HRCI and/or SHRM certification is a plus.
What We Offer
  • $67,000 - $75,000
  • Actual pay is based on experience, qualifications, and location of the role. Roles may be eligible for annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
