P&C Test Automation Engineer

Bloomington, IL [Hybrid Onsite]

$50/hr C2C

• Working knowledge of Insurance Domain (Policy Admin Systems, Property & Casualty Insurance processes and integration with other systems)
• 3+ years of experience in Agile methodology
• Experienced in Test Management Tools
• Strong Automation Testing using Java and Selenium
• 10+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance with strong testing skills in Java, Selenium, and Cucumber
• Understanding and analyzing the application under test (AUT) in terms of object identification and role responsibilities
• Creating test scenarios and collecting test data
• Identifying end‑to‑end scenarios and ensuring code modularity
• Implementing JUnit or TestNG test automation framework and developing automation infrastructure
• Creating reusable components and enhancing test scripts using element locators, Web Driver methods, Java programming concepts, and TestNG annotations
• Creating data‑driven tests and running them through the framework
• Strong project‑management communication and client‑coordination skills
