Job Title: Senior Service Now Technical Consultant

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• U.S. DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
• Must be able to work on‑site at cleared facilities in the Washington DC region on a Hybrid basis at a minimum.
• Current Service Now Certified System Administrator certification.
• Configuration experience with Service Now ITSM or ITBM applications.
• Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs (all scripted aspects of the Service Now system).
• Experience in designing, configuring and implementing business applications.
• Experience in building and enhancing applications through the entire lifecycle (analyze, design, build, test, implement and support).

• Strong understanding of core software engineering, system design and integration.
• Create and manage scripts and workflow.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, etc.).
• Experience with Service Now client and server-side JavaScript and the Service Now APIs.
• Scripted Web-Services, AJAX, Business Rules, JavaScript, SOAP, REST SSO‑SAML Setup and Integration of Service Now to Other Applications.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and a rapidly changing landscape.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of SDLC concepts and ability to apply that knowledge daily. Agile experience highly preferred.

• Configure and implement Service Now scoped applications based on user stories as requirements.
• Conduct unit testing and deployment of functionality in Service Now based applications.
• Conduct operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities for production Service Now scoped applications.
• Function as an application subject‑matter‑expert for the DTech Apps Suite of applications.
• Engage with customers in both a structured and unstructured manner to understand their business problems and communicate cross‑functionally across both customer and internal teams.
• Define, design, and implement business solutions.
