Job Description Position SummaryThe Associate Information Security Analyst(Functional Specialist
6) provides early-career support for information security assessments and improvement efforts across U.S. Federal Government environments. The role helps analyze enterprise security needs, documents findings, supports identity and zero trust activities, and collaborates with client and technical teams to implement practical improvements, including inU.S. Air Force settings.
- Foundational information security analysis
- Identity and Access Management fundamentals
- Zero Trust Network Access fundamentals
- Privileged Access Management fundamentals
- Information protection, data security and privacy awareness
- Research, documentation and analytical problem-solving
- Collaboration with client and technical teams
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Federal and U.S. Air Force environment awareness
- Assist in analyzing complex enterprise environments from an information security perspective.
- Support information protection,data security, privacy and zero trust initiatives across U.S. Federal Government environments.
- Apply foundational knowledge of Identity and Access Management, Zero Trust Network Access and Privileged Access Management.
- Collaborate with client executives and technical practitioners to support recommendations and implementation activities.
- Prepare and communicate clear findings for technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Support security initiatives inU.S. Air Force environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Two years of relevant functional experience. A master’s degree in a business or technical field may substitute for two years of experience.
- Experience supporting analysis of enterprise environments from an information security perspective.
- Ability to collaborate with executive and technical stakeholders.
- Must possess a current Secret security clearance at the time of application.
- Clearance eligibility must be verifiable through the applicable U.S. Government personnel security system.
- Must maintain Secret clearance eligibility throughout employment and comply with all security, access and reporting requirements associated with the role.
- CompTIA Security+ certificationor another relevant certification, such as CCSP, CAP, CEH, CISA or GSEC.
- Identity and Access Management experience.
- Zero Trust Network Access experience.
- Privileged Access Management experience.
- Experience supporting the United States Air Force.
