Technology Supervisor

• Provide leadership for development, design and optimization of Personal Lines application development platforms
• Analyze, select and modify enterprise systems
• Manage application software, network hardware/software installation and databases
• Prepare budgets, schedules and feasibility studies
• Direct efforts to protect company data, tools and information systems
• Plan and coordinate projects within the assigned area
• Apply subject matter knowledge of user groups to system characteristics
• Select, develop and evaluate personnel
• Communicate job expectations and monitor, coach, counsel and evaluate employees
• Define, deliver, support and audit information systems
• Identify technology opportunities and develop application strategies
• Plan and implement disaster recovery, backup, information security and control structures
• Prepare annual budgets, schedule expenditures, analyze variances and initiate corrective action
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networks, benchmarking and professional societies
• Manage disaster recovery plans and activities
• Maintain employee contact information and communicate with non-recovery employees during disasters

• Typically requires 6+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training
• Personal Lines Insurance knowledge is highly desired
• Leadership experience in technology functions
• Knowledge of development, design and optimization of application development platforms
• Knowledge of enterprise systems and application software
• Knowledge of network hardware/software installation
• Database management knowledge
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, backup procedures, information security and control structures
• Budget, scheduling and feasibility study preparation knowledge
• Personnel selection, development and evaluation experience

Possesses in-depth knowledge of Personal Lines Insurance and enterprise systems, ensuring effective project coordination and personnel development.
