The Senior Director for Data Management and Research at the Illinois Community College Board oversees data integrity, security, and compliance across the agency's systems. The role ensures accurate reporting to federal and state agencies, supervises staff, and leads data governance initiatives while collaborating with IT and external partners to maintain high standards of data management and institutional compliance.
Key qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, operations research, or related field with at least 12 semester hours in computer science and/or mathematical modeling
- One year of experience in operations research and/or mathematical modeling
- Supervisory experience
- Knowledge of database management systems and data governance principles
- Proficiency in statistics software such as SAS or SQL
- Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to manage multiple projects
