Under the general direction of the Facilities Manager or Director of Facilities, the Facilities Maintenance Lead will lead the local Facilities team with day‑to‑day tasks/requests and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of facilities, and grounds. Additionally, they will lead projects or project sections involving the enhancement and design of all interior and exterior occupied space which includes the remodel of existing space and construction of new space.

• Perform maintenance and supervise team members to interior / exterior of facilities.
• Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate with vendors.
• Ensure routine HVAC maintenance and assist with specific maintenance.
• Assist in preparing construction specifications, direct contracted projects, coordinate facility inspections.
• Work with maintenance vendors for grounds, janitorial vendor, and preventive maintenance plans.
• Inspect and perform weekly generator maintenance tests.

• At least 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or GED.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience and knowledge in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, furniture assembly/repair, and reading blueprints.
• Proficient use of hand and power tools.
• Strong safety procedures and emergency response.
• Experience managing external contractors and vendors.
• Coaching and feedback abilities.
• Strong customer service and collaborative problem‑solving.
• Ability to listen actively and respect confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer applications.
• Availability for on‑call 24/7 and occasional weekends.
• Reliable insured vehicle with valid driver’s license.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend, squat, reach, stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and work on rooftops.

Works in a temperature‑controlled office environment and may be required to work outside normal business hours during emergencies.
