Position Summary
Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signage, and inventory levels. Oversee budgeting and forecasting, assess economic trends and community needs. Provide guidance to associates on customer service and resolve complaints within company guidelines. Foster community outreach and ensure compliance with policies and legal regulations. Maintain confidentiality of information, supervise training and development, and ensure quality eyewear services.
Responsibilities- Ensure effective merchandise presentation and competitive pricing.
- Lead associates in customer service, complaint resolution, and staff development.
- Support community outreach programs and promote associates as community members.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and asset protection controls.
- Coordinate job-related activities, build stakeholder relationships, and measure progress.
- Ensure quality eyewear by consulting, measuring, verifying prescriptions, and maintaining equipment.
- Completion of 2 or more years of college or 1 year’s retail experience plus 1 year’s supervisory experience, or 2 years’ general work experience with 1 year’s optical experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws.
- Experience supervising associates.
