VP (Head), Product Strategy
Newly created Vice President role that reports into the C‑Suite and will define and drive product strategy end‑to‑end across the firm’s entire portfolio. Working across Regulatory, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Business Development functions, you and your team will establish product visions, value propositions, differentiated positioning, and lifecycle strategies with the goal of maximizing each asset’s patient impact and long‑term value.
KeyAccountabilities
- Direct reports – manage and mentor Product Strategy Asset Leads and other direct reports.
- Strategic advisor to the C‑Suite on product‑ and portfolio‑level decisions, developing recommendations for program‑related investments such as new indications and formulations.
- Lead the development and evolution of integrated product strategies across all company assets from early clinical stage through lifecycle management. This includes:
- Defining TPPs, value propositions, and differentiation strategies.
- Partnering with Clinical Development and Medical Affairs on trial design, endpoints, and evidence generation activities.
- Collaborating with Regulatory and Market Access on approval pathway strategies, pricing considerations, and reimbursement dynamics.
- Leading CI and market landscaping activities to inform your strategies.
- Create and own the overall cross‑functional launch plans.
- 10‑15 years of relevant pharma/biotech experience, including strategic pharma consulting firm experience.
- Prior experience leading product strategy across clinical development stages.
- Launch experience preferred.
- Prior involvement with launch planning, Pricing & Reimbursement planning, and developing evidence generation strategy.
- Cardiovascular‑related experience is a plus.
- Comfortable being a player‑coach; hands‑on operational responsibility is expected.
- Prior direct experience is a plus.
- High EQ coupled with persuasive communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.
