About the PositionSenior Manager of SIOP in Aerospace Division; responsible for driving demand forecasts, inventory control, and production planning processes to align across functions, maximize business performance, monitor KPIs, analyze data, and deliver actionable insights.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities- Lead SIOP strategy: oversee, manage development, execution, continuous improvement of SIOP planning process aligning with business goals.
- Forecasting and demand planning: collaborate with sales & marketing to create accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, customer feedback.
- Production and capacity planning: collaborate with operations and manufacturing to align production plans with forecasts, manage capacity to balance efficiency and customer needs.
- Inventory optimization: oversee inventory management strategy to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize excess inventory, monitor turnover.
- Collaboration across functions: act as liaison among sales, marketing, supply chain, manufacturing, finance.
- Data‑driven decision making: use analytics and reporting tools to track performance, identify trends, proactively address supply chain/production issues.
- Continuous improvement: develop and execute best practices to enhance operational efficiency, reduce lead times, improve customer satisfaction.
- Leadership and development: manage & mentor planning team, foster collaboration, provide training and development opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree or professional certification is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years supply chain, operations, or planning experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience implementing and managing SIOP/IBP processes in manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to synthesize data, identify trends, make data‑driven decisions.
- Excellent leadership, team management, collaborative across all functions and levels.
- In‑depth knowledge of demand forecasting, inventory management, production planning, and supply chain optimization.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NAV) and advanced Excel skills. Experience with advanced SIOP or demand planning software is a plus.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills, ability to influence and drive change at all levels.
- Results‑oriented focus on driving efficiency and delivering measurable outcomes.
$165,000–$185,000.
