VP Aviation has an opportunity for an experienced Aircraft Cabinet Technician supporting private aircraft in Moline, Illinois. This position pays $25.00-$45.00 per hour based on experience and includes a sign-on bonus

As an Aircraft Cabinet Technician, you’ll modify, repair, refurbish, and fabricate custom cabinetry and interior wood components for private aircraft. You’ll work with an experienced team to produce the high-quality craftsmanship expected in business aviation while helping return aircraft to service with exceptional fit and finish.

This position is ideal for experienced cabinet makers, aircraft interior technicians, and skilled woodworkers who enjoy precision work and take pride in producing beautiful aircraft interiors.

• Disassemble and reassemble aircraft cabinetry.
• Fabricate custom aircraft cabinets, divans, ledges, and other interior wood components.
• Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
• Remove laminate and veneer without damaging existing substrates.
• Cut, fit, and install laminate and veneer materials.
• Repair damaged cabinetry and aircraft interior panels.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work closely with fellow technicians to complete projects on schedule.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Previous experience as an Aircraft Cabinet Technician, cabinet maker, aircraft interior technician, or fine woodworker.
• Experience working with laminate, veneer, and woodworking materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
