CRNA at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, IL
OSF St. Joseph Medical Center is a Level II trauma center that offers a wide range of surgical services, including a da Vinci Surgical System and Mako Robotic‑Assisted Technology. The facility provides a dynamic, collaborative environment for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to perform regional blocks and manage anesthesia across multiple specialty areas.
Responsibilities- Pre‑anesthesia assessment
- Obtain and/or verify patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitor the patient’s physiological condition
- Perform clinical interventions as needed
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certification or recertification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
Various schedule options are available, including 24‑hour shifts when available. Only 24‑hour CRNAs take call in‑house.
Total Rewards- Salary: $285,000 annually
