Shift times: 7pm – 7am shifts available.

Join our dynamic team at Bickford Senior Living as a Wellness Nurse. The Wellness Nurse supports resident care within the branch, ensuring residents’ daily medication needs are met in a compassionate, dignified way that lets them live their lives to the fullest.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately follow the resident MAR to ensure medications are given according to physicians’ orders.
  • Understand and follow the “Six rights of medication administration” and Bickford’s medication management policies and procedures.
  • Use the eMAR system for medication administration.
  • Communicate appropriately with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care.
  • Provide direct resident care and supervise non‑licensed team members as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate Bickford’s mission “Whatever it Takes” to all shift team members.
Qualifications
  • Active license as an LPN or Registered Nurse in good standing.
  • Willingness to take additional training or education, as required by specific states.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
  • Ability to learn or use Bickford’s eMAR system and other applications.
