Openings for RN - Medical/Surgical

Gross weekly: $2326

Weekly taxable: $1080

Weekly nontaxable: $1246

Location:

Peoria, IL

Shift: Days/Nights (Available)

Contract length: 13 weeks

Scheduled hours: 36

• Common diagnoses/Types of patients:
  Stroke, spine surgery, seizure, brain tumor, head injury, any neuroscience, some medical overflow.
• Experience or 'Must have' skills:
  Must have level 1 trauma experience, must have previous travel experience (no first time travelers), must have prior experience working on a dedicated neuro unit.
• Are RNs required to titrate drips?:
  Yes
• Common titratable &/or set rate drips:
  Heparin titrated drip based on PTT- must have heparin gtt experience.
• Floating Requirements:
  Float in rotation with rest of staff. General unit traveler floats to general unit floor - takes full team. If floated outside of general unit, in case of urgent need, would only do skills competent to do & be assigned with a nurse trained for that particular unit.
• Required Certifications - BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
