Are you an overnight nurse who enjoys working independently but is ready for a break from large patient assignments, constant call lights, and the fast pace of facility nursing?

Castor Home Health Solutions is hiring an RN or LPN for full-time overnight care for a young adult in the Bloomington-Normal area.

You’ll provide skilled, one-on-one nursing care for the patient in the comfort of their home. Instead of dividing your attention among several patients, you’ll have the time to understand one patient’s needs, follow an individualized plan of care, and build a meaningful relationship with the patient and family.

As your patient’s overnight nurse, you’ll provide the skilled care and monitoring they need throughout the night while helping the family feel confident that their child is safe and supported.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the home
• Monitor your patient’s condition and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Perform case-specific nursing skills
• Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Follow the patient’s individualized plan of care
• Communicate with the family and Castor clinical team
• Complete accurate nursing documentation

• Active Illinois RN or LPN license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Dependable and compassionate approach to care
• Comfort working independently in a home environment
• Interest in providing one-on-one pediatric nursing care

You don’t need previous private duty nursing experience to get started. Castor provides paid, hands‑on training specific to your patient’s needs so you can feel prepared and confident before working independently.
