Coffee Manager in Training

Job Overview

Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service. Train, coach, supervise, and evaluate Coffee Bar associates; maintain performance standards; supervise and participate in all Coffee Bar activities. Duties are normally conducted in a store environment. There is significant responsibility to maintain customer service levels and handle multiple priorities.

Exposure to approximately 28 °F while handling products in cooler and
-20 °F while handling products in freezer. The position involves sharp knives and is occasionally exposed to dust, cleaning chemicals, and equipment movement hazards. This is a fast‑paced work environment where stressful situations are encountered.

• Ability to do simple addition, subtraction, counting, and recording.
• Ability to understand and follow written, verbal, or demonstrated instructions, write identifying information, and request supplies orally or in writing.
• Visual requirements: clarity of vision at a distance of less than 20 inches to less than 20 feet, with color vision and depth perception.
• Ability to read descriptions on boxes and shelf tags to order products and place merchandise in proper locations.
• Ability to work shifts varying in length and times, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
