Indianapolis, Bloomington, Fort Wayne, Westfield, La Fayette (IN/IL). The role may span multiple states across Indiana and Illinois.

Our Retail Merchandising Team is seeking a competitive and ambitious Supervisor with proven experience managing and motivating associates, increasing sales, and merchandising. The Retail Supervisor is responsible for achieving and maintaining all client and customer standards by overseeing and directing activities of associates within assigned territories. The ideal candidate works closely with Business Development Managers, Brands, Retail Managers, and other retail personnel to ensure business objectives are met.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and direct retail associates, conduct store audits, execute and complete all retail projects.
  • Maintain client objectives by ensuring products are fully stocked, correctly signed, properly faced, and set to schematics.
  • Establish and maintain client relationships, including work appointments.
  • Consistently monitor and regulate expenses with regard to position and team budget standards.
  • Accurate and timely communication, administrative, and coaching duties with direct reports.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Business Development: build goodwill with trade and clients, ensure timely new‑item placement, and complete all retail projects.
  • Client Audits: manage and direct retail personnel, conduct store audits, and execute retail projects.
  • Brand Representation: increase representation and effectiveness through trade and client relationships and conduct client work with appointments.
  • Sales and Merchandising: maintain client objectives by fully stocking, signing, facing, and scheming products.
  • New Items: place new items in all authorized stores to meet business objectives.
  • Shelf Standards and Conditions: authorize items to meet client shelf schematic standards.
  • Call Coverage: oversee scheduling of merchandisers and review reports.
  • Budget and Expense Control: budget and control expenses to stay under budget and maintain excellent control.
  • Administration/Reporting: complete accurate and timely paperwork and reports, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, and expense reports.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Direct Reports: hire, retain, train, coach, guide, direct, and develop direct reports using company‑wide processes, tools and resources.
  • Indirect Reports: delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring.
Travel and Driving Requirements

Travel and driving are essential duties. Travel up to 30% of the time and drive regularly as part of the role.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Four years of applicable retail experience, including at least two years in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to complete multiple duties with frequent changes and competing deadlines.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Well‑organized, detail‑oriented, and able to handle a fast‑paced environment.
  • Independent work capability.
  • Basic computer skills: familiarity with Word, Excel, and Internet usage.
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
