Utility Clerk

Overview

Meijer, a family‑owned retailer, provides employees with career and community opportunities focused on leadership, personal growth, and development.

• Serve as a Cart Attendant, ferrying shopping carts from the parking lot to the store interior.
• Coordinate collection of parking lot, lawn, and interior trash.
• Operate snow‑removal equipment safely during winter conditions.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning duties.
• Assist in the service desk, store entrance, checkout lanes, and parking lot areas.
• Support various departments:
  Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting while handling products or equipment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Weekend availability required.

Competitive hourly pay with a step‑pay plan, starting between $15.00 and $15.00 (actual rate meets or exceeds legal wage requirements).
