Produce Clerk - Bloomington

Job Description Overview:
This job description outlines the main responsibilities and requirements for the Produce Clerk position.

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Regular, reliable attendance (essential function).
• Stock, rotate, and straighten product.
• Water and ice down various products.
• Wash trim, and wrap product.
• Remove any product not meeting company quality standards.
• Read and understand department signs.
• Follow company safety and sanitation procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by store management.

Training will be provided at store level.

• Bending and stooping.
• Ability to work in a cold, damp environment.
• Can lift up to 50 pounds.
• Working on feet for entire shift (4-8 hours).

• Internal Candidates:
  Store/Facility teammates must have minimum six months employment with Schnucks, and store support center teammates must have minimum one year employment.
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
• If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.

Pay Range: $15.35 - $16.40 per hour.
