Compensation: $50,000 base salary + commission
About the RoleReady to start your career in freight brokerage and sales? We’re looking for a motivated, dependable, and team-oriented individual to join our Carrier Sales team in Chicago!
No freight experience? No problem! We provide structured, hands‑on training to help you learn the industry, build your skills, and grow into a successful Carrier Sales Representative.
You’ll learn how to source and build relationships with carriers, negotiate rates, and manage freight from pickup through delivery. As you gain experience, you’ll transition into managing your own shipments and carrier relationships.
What You’ll Do- Book and manage carriers for customer freight.
- Secure capacity and assist with rate negotiations.
- Track shipments from pickup through delivery.
- Communicate with carriers regarding load requirements and updates.
- Maintain accurate load information in our internal systems.
- Identify and escalation issues to support timely resolution.
- Work closely with the Carrier Sales Manager and the rest of the team.

- Structured onboarding focused on freight brokerage fundamentals.
- Hands‑on training with live loads and real customers.
- Daily coaching in carrier sourcing, negotiation, and operations.

No previous freight brokerage experience is required. We’re looking for someone who is ready to learn and excited to build a career in the industry.
